Insurance Claims

Welcome to our insurance claims site. This page is designed to help you learn everything you would like to know about claims including what they are, how each is handled, and what you can do to ensure that you receive the compensation you deserve when you file a claim.

An insurance claim is a form you fill out for your insurance company describing any incident that might entitle you to monetary compensation either from your insurance company or a guilty party. For example, if you are ever involved in an auto accident, you would fill out an insurance claim describing the incident and listing the names, addresses, phone numbers, and insurance information for all other parties involved, the estimated damage, and the information for any witnesses present. You would then submit your insurance claim to your insurance company, and your insurance company would pass it on to the companies of the other parties involved.

Unfortunately, you will not usually have an insurance claim form on hand when you experience a claim incident. As a result, the best way for you to ensure compensation is to take notes when you have a problem. It is important for you to gather as much information as possible at the seen of the incident. Then be sure to contact your insurance company as quickly as possible (within 24 hours) to submit the claim for processing.
